About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Friends to take on life's adventures

ABOUT ME

I like to travel in different cultures and experience new things. I've lived overseas for years and exploration is a part of my being. These days I'm equally loving being right here, immersing in Spanish language and culture throughout Austin and neighboring countries.

Traveling is a time of newness, reinvention, soul searching.. I find it beautiful not only for the new experiences and lessons learned, but also the outside glimpse back in. I've made Austin my home now for 10 years and am loving it! This city is like an onion, with layer upon layer to discover. When timing's right, there's nothing better than sharing this incredible city with other travelers visiting. Exploring is key - new friendships, culture, music, nature, cities.. Quieres explorar conmigo?

PHILOSOPHY

Las hueles de las personas que caminaron juntos nunca se borran {Proverbio Congo}

The traces of the people who walked together never vanish (Congolese Proverb)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love this community for the open, curious, trusting people it brings together in such a natural way. At it's core it's friendship across continents, good times traveling (which we all love!!) and cultural exchange. Buena gente.

My first experience: I stayed with 6 super sweet women in Monterrey. Their squirrel attacked me, couch bombing all night.. we salsa danced till morning. The ladies were such sweethearts, so generous and interesting!

Now whenever I travel I find the couchsurfers! Even if I don’t need a place to stay I like to know local people & share good times.

I'm also into hanging out with the couchsurfing community here in Austin, which is super active and meets all the time.
