Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Oh, only to make the world a better place.
ABOUT ME
I am me. Could it get more concrete? I think a lot, I read a lot, I save different quotes in a little book and memories in my heart. I take almost all the photos I have with my eyes, so that they will never be lost. (Unfortunately this isn't really working any longer, getting a bit senile I guess. And too wild partynight-"photos" also tend to just disappear...)
I really enjoy meeting new people. I enjoy talking, and I enjoy listening. I even enjoy being completely quiet.
I love my job as the President of a School Student Union, since I see so much, learn so much and have also realised that even I might actually have something, if not even a lot of things, to teach other people.
I also am a word addict, I could probably dedicate my life to composing letters into sentences or spend all my time just reading other people's results of doing the same.
Putting is shortly (which seems to be one of the things I am not very talented at doing): I like more things than I dislike. I think there is something good to find in every situation. At least that is what I want to think.
PHILOSOPHY
As the Weltschmertz-individual I happen to be, I need to hope that each and everyone of us can make something big happen. And I sincerely believe that if people would think only a bit more about each other the world would be a better place. You can start by smiling at all the people on the bus/tram/school/job/street. You will surely be rewarded.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I'm a member of the Swedish translation team. As the wordnerd I am it's only fun. Other than that I'm not really doing anything else than just try to spread the word about this site. And of course offering my couch is the most effective way to participate.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met one Venezuelan and one French guy in Helsinki, two nights in a row. First we had some beers at a typical Finnish karaoke bar (I am surprised they didin't flee!) and the second night we went to a friend's home party, a good old one of those that are getting more and more rare nowadays.
So, as you see, my CS account isn't what it could be. You are more than welcome to contact me for a more filled CS future!

Teach, Learn, Share
I think that all of us have more knowledge than we could ever dream of, therefore I find it tremendously difficult to come up with something beautifully aha-experience-like for you right now. But I could tell you something you probably never knew (and have always been urging to know):
Thomas Edison (the guy who invented the bulb) was afraid of the dark. "The need is the greatest inventor."
