We have (between us) degrees in philosophy, women's studies, and U.S. history that eventually led to the desire to obtain degrees in Latin American history and library science, which we are currently working on (or about to).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now we are in and out of a cramped apartment and set up to mostly socialize or guide (though we are new to the city, so we might get you lost!) We are always up to sharing our meals (vegan) and organic homebrew (when there's a batch around!) In the near future we hope to be able to host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We climbed an active volcano in Guatemala, straight to the top. We stood one foot away from the lava pit, spewing lava. We said "never again" when we got to the bottom, but climbed another (non-active, but it had a lake in the middle) volcano a couple weeks later.
