HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf. I would like to host people, but at the moment I share my appartment with others and I feel it's inappropriate to host strangers in that situation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I surfed one couch, with Ulli in Berlin, and it was a great time. I also went to the local meetings a couple of times, and met some nice people. However, this has been a while now.
I want to surf more Couches as soon as I get some time off.

Interessen

history, literature; cooking and enjoying a good meal; music, dancing (alas, this only works if I enjoy the music!); sailing (so far I've only sailed with smaller boats and on lakes, hope to do the real thing some time); learning languages; finally getting out of Europe?

Hiking along the West Highland Way for one week was pretty amazing to me.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I know quite a lot of physics and maths, I'm always glad to help out (don't know if anyone on CS is looking for THAT however :-) ). Apart from that I know a little about computer programming, the basics of sailing, the basics of guitar playing, sound editing (through failed attempts of making music on the pc), and bicycle repairs. These are also things I'd like to learn more about from others.
