Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Move to a warmer country... only being partially realised (New York is a couple degrees warmer... on average)
ABOUT ME
I'm constantly wondering about where I could go next... I love meeting new people, interacting with people of all ages, and enjoying life. Regardless of ups and downs, I'm excited for what my life will bring, and love the life I have lived thus far.
PHILOSOPHY
"To live is to change, to acquire the words of a story, and that is the only celebration we mortals really know. In perfect stillness, frankly, I've only found sorrow"
Certain people come into your life at specific times for specific reasons. The few that stick with you forever are the ones to be kept close at heart...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed and plan on continuing to surf when I need to. I try to respond to questions I get about destinations, etc. and I email other CSers for travel advice/ideas.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had my first couchsurfing experience before i even became a couchsurfer. My very good friend Katie and I decided to drive to Quebec city from Halifax (no small feat) for the weekend, and she, being the couchsurfer, arranged our accommodations. Turns out, we stayed with the most amazing person (Jean Fournier) and had the most incredible experience. Our experience in Quebec would never have been as memorable.
Interests
Travel. Enjoying the stories of other people's travels, lives, and realities. Working (when I enjoy what I do). Lying in the sun... reading, talking to people and hearing their stories. And everything else that makes me happy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Represented Canada on a Junior Economic Trade Mission (that's the nerdy accomplishment...)... Every place I have been to and seen has been amazing in their own respect. Getting stranded in Lisbon, Portugal and randomly coming across a jazz quintet in the middle of an overgrown garden and listening to their open air concert all by myself. Pretty incredible.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone has their own reality - their own vision, mission, perception. You can't mold the way people see the world, you just have to enjoy that interpretation and learn from it.
