About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.” Jack London

ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going, adventurous soul. Love to laugh, smile, enjoy good conversation and intellectual debates (in good spirit of course) meeting new people, trying new things and exploring new places. I love being outdoors hiking, backpacking, biking, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing... basically you name it and I'm always excited to learn new things! I've also been known to enjoy a rainy day tucked away in a cozy coffee shop with a book. I like to cook, with and for others- good food, good wine and good conversation mmm.

PHILOSOPHY

"Vocations which we wanted to pursue but didn't, bleed, like colors on the whole of our existence."
- Honore de Balzac
"Life is what happens while you're making plans."
- John Lennon

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I can and surf along the way wherever the journey takes me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Hawaii I spent the last week of our trip on the couch of friends we made the previous week on North Shore and had the warmest experience of the entire trip through the hospitality of others. Always a fan of the pay it forward philosophy, I have never seen it more beautifully applied than through the couchsurfing project

Oh so many... hmm a few: hiking, backpacking, skiing, biking, people watching, traveling, road tripping, sociology, politics, reading, crafting, knitting and sewing, water sports (swimming, water polo, kayaking, diving), cooking, coffee, dogs, sustainable living... the list is always growing!
