ABOUT ME

I recently moved back to Cali after living abroad in Japan and Costa Rica...The transition is a difficult one, and I'm trying my best to work through the challenges it's bringing...I LOVE Couch Surfing, and the experiences it's brought to my life in the last year are immeasureable!! I work a lot, but if you know you're gonna' be in santa cruz and want to meet some CS'ers, let me know!!

I LOVE Couch Surfing...besides meeting travelers and being an ambassador to my home town (where ever that may be!), I love the community that CS brings...Santa Cruzians- let's do this!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently participated in a 'Couch Exchange' with a great couple in NY. They stayed at my place for a week, while I stayed at theirs. One more grace that CS has created! Besides our CS community in Costa Rica, I've only hosted surfers. My old roommate/soul sista', Mariana, and I hosted some excellent people, and we made some life long friends. Fun and special times past, present, and future!

Interests

spanish, reading (mainly novels), yoga, kayaking of any sort, exercise, avocados, swimming, friendships, family, peanut butter and chocolate, daaaaancing, just hanging out with friends on lazy days.

Music, Movies, and Books

i love novels: isabel allende, haruki murakami, paolo coehlo, alice walker, rebecca walker, 'kite runner', 'one thousand splendid suns', 'middle sex'....'three cups of tea' is AWESOME...also loved 'the history of love' and 'eat, pray, love'. (wow, triple love...that's alotta' points!!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

living abroad in 3 different countries in the past four years, i believe, is a huge accomplishment....also, i participated in israel birthright in january, and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
