About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To walk with the dreamers, the believers, the courageous, the cheerful, the planners, the doers, the successful people with their heads in the clouds and their feet on the ground.

ABOUT ME

I'm a fun-loving Canadian currently based in Adelaide, Australia.

I love music and seeing live shows.

I love dinner parties, going out, going crazy, laughing and drinking wine.

I love banter and smart, positive people.

I love travelling, road tripping, meeting people, surfing and camping.

PHILOSOPHY

Good quotes to live by:

"Walk with the dreamers, the believers, the courageous, the cheerful, the planners, the doers, the successful people with their heads in the clouds and their feet on the ground." -Wilfred Peterson

If a diploma can famously be a passport (to a journey through hard realism), a passport can be a diploma (for a crash course in cultural relativism). - Pico Iyer

"There is wisdom in turning as often as possible from the familiar to the unfamiliar; it keeps the mind nimble; it kills prejudice, and it fosters humor." -George Santayana

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover"-Mark Twain

"Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new." -Brian Tracy

"You see things; and you say 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say 'Why not?'"-George Bernard Shaw

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to Australia. Best decision ever. Here, everything you see/do is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again—to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more.

-Pico Iyer, Why We Travel (Author of The Global Soul: Jet Lag, Shopping Malls and the Search for Home)
