ABOUT ME

Have three grown up children, boys, one in Australia, one in New Zealand, haven't seen them for three years.
Lived in Portugal, Algarve, for 4yrs running own bar and restaurant. Love to travel, but can't afford too much as I am living on small pension. For get aways I have a static caravan in Southport. I love animals but only have one elderley cat at the moment.
Would love to meet new people from all over the world, and make new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

To keep 'picking up the pieces'. Onward and upward so to speak. Help others where you can, and have a kind word to give, it doesn't cost anything and can mean a lot.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have so far had 5 people to stay with me, but was out of action because of supporting elderly mother, who has now died. Have now had sucessful heart surgery and recovered very well. I am currently loking to travel to New Zealand to visit family.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No, never couchsurfed before, as I have had a very poor response from requests in various places I have wanted to visit.

My children being born. Sunsets, the sea, wildlife, flowers, in fact all of nature is wonderful.

I agree with Teach, Learn, Share. When you have done with these three things, then life must be pretty boring. Wisdom is something else we can all give, and encouragement is another thing that doesn't cost anything but is valuable.
