ABOUT ME

Laughter is the best medicine :)

Traveling is my big passion, and I love to meet new people. Right now I'm enjoying my last year of studying, I just came back from the States and am now spending a few quiet months in the Netherlands where I am doing an internship. After that I hope to find a job where I can do my little part in - hopefully - making the world a better place. How, and where - to be determined.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed in Ireland, Australia and the States. I have hosted a few times, and would love to host more often :) If you want to meet for coffee or something, I'm definitely in for that too! Me and my roommates go to Trivia night every week, and also normally go to live music or salsa/tango parties at least once a week :) We also cook together every night, and we love to bake cakes so if you are in the neighborhood and are feeling hungry, let me know :)

Music: I love music! Folk music, salsa music, tango music, world music, singer-songwriters, and I recently started collecting old records like Moody Blues, Fleetwood Mac etc.

Movies: too many to choose from.. La vita è bella, Amélie, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Forrest Gump, Okuribito, Léon, etc. I also love old movies like Labyrinth, the dark crystal, the Storyteller, Casablanca. Toy Story 3 is a great movie too by the way, totally made me cry.. My favorite actor is Hugh Jackman :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know that the sound of E.T. walking was made by someone squishing her hands in jelly?

What could I teach you.. Dutch; and basic salsa, tango, or waltz steps. And I could give you some nice vegetarian recipes :)
Learn.. Whatever it is that you can teach me! I would love to learn to play the violin, and I love to learn new languages.
