One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One is too hard...I would have to choose from:

* suprising my close friends in Europe that the idea of working on a tropical island isn't just a dream or fantasy...if you really want it, you can do it.

* Being in the middle of a typhoon in the Philippines and getting flooded. Afterwards drinking the local brew (coconutwine) with the boatmen like nothing happened.

* Swimming with the whalesharks in Donsol & Limasawa island, Southern Leyte, Philippines & very recently in Moalboal, while we were doing freedive training!

* experiencing a traditional muslim marriage, in a village in Perlis, Malaysia. Never will forget the faces of the people when I arrived there.

* Bat excodus, Gunung Mulu, Sarawak, Borneo. I went to see them three times. Simply breathtaking.
However, you need to be lucky with the weather. Sometimes they come out in small groups, sometimes its one contineous stream of 30 to 40 mins! Millions of bats!

* A 1500km motorbike cruise through and around whole Palawan, especially the rarely visited southwest was a part not to forget. On the road I decided I wanna live on this amazing island.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people the basics of the art of freediving.
If you want to take it a level deeper, I can hook you up with some of the finest freedivers in the Philippines.
