ABOUT ME

I am currently on a literary/eating-disorder tour of Europe, and it culminated in my transition from a few bites of something each day to an orgiastic frenzy of snacking wherein I conquered my inner demons and screamed "I will NOT call you Ishmael" at my ice cream and then went all Raskolnikov on its ass.

PHILOSOPHY

Rutabagas are about identity as a function of history. In order to make sense of ourselves, we need to understand our roots.

I have hardly had a bed myself for the last few years, let alone a spare one for someone else. I've only couch surfed twice, but both were great experiences. Hopefully I will have a home at some point...

Music: Sleater-Kinney. A lot of others. Lil Wayne would be in there somewhere. But S-K is the most important one.
Movies: Heathers. HEATHERS. And Apocalypse Now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe this is lame, but Edvard Munch's "Madonna" painting in Oslo definitely takes the cake. Everything else is a pretty close second though.

Upon request, I could probably provide you with an engaging and heartfelt speech about ham and why it's important in the modern world. None of it would be accurate and very little of it would be educational, but I'm just sayin' it could be done.
