About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to paint subtlety into seeming, seething mundane
ABOUT ME
"... act as spies, saboteurs, criminals of amour fou, neither selfless nor selfish, accessible as children, mannered as barbarians, chafed with obsessions, sensually deranged, wolfangels, mirrors for contemplation, eyes like flowers, pirates of all signs & meanings."
"Yah, the difference between you two is while B. loves beautiful things, you love beauty."
I'm understanding but quick to argue, and appreciate honesty, sarcasm and wit. Sometimes I'm charming, sometimes a little awkward. I'm as likely to speak for hours as to stay silent and listen. I'm very practical, but I'd never let you know. Gender is something I'd rather not participate in. I try to cultivate passion, curiosity, possibility and self-understanding in all I do.
I've also been known to spontaneously wash all the dishes wherever I'm staying ;P
PHILOSOPHY
Life is tragic, and tragedy is a hidden savior.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When living in a space, I host any and all.
When traveling, I spread the word about couchsurfing wherever I go.
And I've struck up friendships with lovely travelers while giving words of encouragement to crazy travel day dreams.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted 40+ people at various times in Memphis, about half of them were friends of friends who needed a place to stay for a while, and the other half travelers.
As for my own travels, I relaxed on so many couches I couldn't even hope to list them all. Much <3 If I stayed or traveled with you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once, with nihilistic bravado, I promised not to compromise my inner self, fuck the culture that says otherwise. So far, I keep my promise.
Teach, Learn, Share
There is so much to learn, lets share what we know!
Possible contributions:
Travel tips, Long term urban nomading, all that alternative living stuff, painting, sketching, any visual art, community organizing, gardening, finding free food, consensus decision making, sewing, child care, analyzing people, some herbalism, Queer theory, emotional health mischief, all kinds of theories, philosophies, histories, and rumors.
But mostly I listen, ask questions, listen more and help people make decisions.
I'd love to learn: To sing, music, train hopping, to improve focus, writing, public speaking, any useful skill, more about camping, rewilding, more herbalism, ways of making money, ways of living free, new and unique thoughts and ideas (don't be fooled, something similar has always been thought before- but that thought was not your thought).
