ABOUT ME

I always have a book and an appetite - especially when I travel, which usually resembles extended Anthony Bourdainian debauchery. I'm a US and Italian citizen, born in Gemany, lived in Spain and studied in Peru, among lots of other places. When I'm not musicking, I'm cooking something delicious, or gallivanting about seeking new exploits in The Bay or elsewhere. I am 1/2 incorrigible thrill seeker, and 1/2 contemplator of life, the universe and everything. Basically, life is short, and I'm always down for a good time. I love to meet people, travel and get get different perspectives on the world. I like to hang out, eat good food, and talk about the way it was, is, and should be...

Books: Marquez, Kundera, Camus, Bukowski, Cortazar... what a snob.

Idiot box: I just broke a 15 year TV fast to watch the Walking Dead series, in its entirety. Sad, I know. Then I watched House of Cards. I guess I like TV now.

Flicks: The Three Amigos, American Beauty, Fight Club, pretty much anything by Almodóvar, Iñárritu, Woody Allen, or Felini.

Music: This could go on for 10 pages easy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Toured the Middle East with a rock band in 2006 during the height of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Glamourous stops included Djibouti Djibouti, Kuwait, Manama, Doha, Baghdad, among others.
