ABOUT ME
Bonjour à tous et toutes, je m'appelle Camille! Mon profil est en anglais pour des raisons pratiques, mais je suis francophone.
I live in Montreal with my husband Johnny, my cat and my 1000's of unfinished life projects.
What can I say? I'm moody and ask myself a lot of questions, but people make me happy. One thing that's certain is that I'm very sensitive to the context I'm in; hence I can assert that I am a generally absorbent being, like most of us. Weird, quiet, brooding, ecstatic, shy, bold, boring, funny, hesitant, outgoing or withdrawn - that's all me.
Curiosity is a virtue I look upon with the utmost respect, as I find that we tend to settle in a intellectual cast and miss out on many things that are beyond the simple limits of what we already know or accept. In that respect, interaction with people is marvelous at challenging us. I love people. Behind that naive statement lies this very sincere belief on which I will not compromise. You are my kind; who would I turn to otherwise? people I meet along the way are certainly worth me kicking my arse to overcome my dark sides.
I never know what to write here that won't make me sound like a two-pence philosopher? It's just that I don't have unique, amazing skills to talk about, or crazy life experiences. Or maybe I do? I won't change your life or anything but I like to tag along, I love to play. We could bump into each other and see what happens? Couchsurfing has been great to me so far.
PHILOSOPHY
There are many reasons to get depressed, but there are just as many reasons not to be. No one said it was going to be easy, but we must find a balance in order to live. Otherwise, life is either a never-ending party that is blind to the needs of others, or spent in a dark cloud, head in a storm - In both cases, life just zips by.
Humanity is a good idea - if you're feeling cold, you can always grab someone near you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Zero bad couchsurfing experiences. Apart from that, I won't say a word; I don't want you to feel compelled to be more extraordinary than the previous couchsurfer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most of it is only truly meaninful to me; therefore, there's a good chance you'll find it cheesy.
But here's one, a moment of pure bliss: going downhill on my bicycle at sunset, on a small Irish island, and letting go of the handlebar.
"Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!"
(Heart racing, head exploding with sheer joy. Puzzled old man in his driveway.)
All these moments when you don't think of your problems or whatever's wrong with the world - because you feel like you are part of something greater, bigger, insanely beautiful and meaningful.
