Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will participate by offering up my couch to a traveler who is in need. I am in the heart of Washington, DC, with the White House and Capital only blocks away. There is Metro access near my building and the whole city is available to tour from my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I finished out my college career on a friends couch. In my youth, I spent a lot of time "crashing" on friends couches and sometimes they were more comfortable than a bed.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite book, Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway. I also love mystery books by James Patterson, it is like brain candy.

Music wise, I am all over the place. Grew up liking old 70's rock, Led Zeppelin especially, then went into e Reggae and Bob Marley phase which I still enjoy but now I am just all over the place. One minute I will listen to 80's pop then the next, classical music, then hip hop and so on, until everyone is confused.

I have a movie theater next to my building so I try to see movies that look good, unfortunately not that many movies look that good lately. The Departed was the last one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing too amazing yet. I traveled through Europe with my best friend, we have been friends since we were 10. I hiked through the Grand Tetons in Wyoming and also fly fished in the Continental Divide Mountain Range in the Rockies. I caught 100 pound Tarpon off the coast of Florida in Key West. I saw the place where millions of the Jewish people lost everything in Poland, Auchewitz. I visited Zeus's Cave in Greece(not really all that).
