we live in a small city with 2 dogs.
i, nj, have lived in virginia since 1999; jeremy was born and raised in harrisonburg.
i don't drink or smoke; jeremy enjoys the occasional *good* beer :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

nj wants to travel to central america, south america, and india.
jeremy wants to travel to europe.

we offer our space to any person traveling by themselves or any small group.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far we've couchsurfed together in D.C., hosted CSers a few times at our home, and i've attended CS events in Chile and Peru.

Music, Movies, and Books

we mostly like comedy and action films; i, nj, don't like very scary movies because they give me nightmares!!!
for music we like rock, hip hop, r&b, jazz, metal, blues, some bluegrass, very little country, very little trance.

nj's favorite books: Monkey/Journey to the West and One Hundred Years of Solitude.

jeremy is currently reading capote's "in cold blood"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

we had amazing seats to see and listen to Desmond Tutu give a talk/speech. that was awesome!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

nj wants to learn the spanish language, learn about new foods and how to prepare and cook new dishes. i want to be exposed to different spiritual and philosophical beliefs.
i can teach you how to make a sock monkey or grill a cheese sandwich perfectly.
