ABOUT ME

As you've probably figured out by now, our names are Ari and Tinna. We've been a couple since late 2005 and it looks like it's going to last forever ;)

Tinna: At the moment I'm studying general design in the technical school of Reykjavik.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
I guess we both dislike the ones you enjoy while watching but can’t recall a year later. We refer to them as “yet another movie.” However, in the right company and circumstances they’re just as good as anything else. But the ones we do remember at the moment (and describe our taste pretty well) include La Vita É Bella, Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Borat, Napoleon Dynamite and The Lion King.

Music:
I guess our taste for music is pretty diverse, but here are a few examples: Angelo Debarre & Ludovic Beier, Asian Dub Foundation, Augustus Pablo, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Buena Vista Social Club, Cesaria Evora, Dave Bruebeck Quartet, Focus, Frédéric Chopin, Goran Bregovic, Gotan Project, Hank Williams III, Hot Chip, Jack Johnson, Jan Johansson, Jethro Tull, La Bottine Souriante, Lhasa, Lisa Ekdahl, Lord Kossidy, Lord Pretender, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Manos Hadjidakis, Manu Chao, Norah Jones, Orishas, Pink Floyd, Portishead, Radiohead, Sizzla, Skatalites, St. Germain and this list could go on forever..

Books:
Can’t remember many books that describe our taste too well, but here’s a try, anyway: The Celestine Prophecy, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Papalangi, Of Mice and Men, The Year of the Hare, The Meaning of Liff an so on. Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People is constantly lying around on the bedside table or somewhere, although it's not getting as much attention as it should.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bathing in a natural hot tub in Snæfellsnes (about 1 sq.m.) was pretty amazing..
