ABOUT ME

I have been working on a fixer-upper house for the past 4 years and have restored it's former quaint charmn including landscaping. That has been my creative outlet and expression and I keep dreaming of new ideas for the yard, but, I have to stop somewhere.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am sad that I have not had one cs approach me to stay except one my friend terersa sent me, but she overshot and drove right past me. I live in a small mountain town at 5000 elevation in the eastern side of the sierra nevada moutains, very beautiful. lakes, streams, fishing, snowmobiling in winter, and golf courses, lots of hiking trails. So, I know it's out of the way, but come stay with me, you will enjoy the area if you like nature and beauty.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our friend in India hosted couchsurfers the month we were there and we met some wonderful people from all over the world. Our host took us all on a trip to the hill country and we all felt like one big happy family. Loved that!

Interests

I am at my best when my mind can wonder and create. I am a dreamer and an idealist I think. I love to garden, travel, be on my 'puter, travel, read, talk, walk, absorb the beauty of nature, travel, people watch, cook, meet new people, learn new things, and did I mention travel? I would like to be more disciplined to write.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Taj Mahal. I have backpacked around India, germany, paris, london with a pack on my back with my two grown kids, a lifelong yearning to travel to an exotic place finally fulfilled! Thanks Matt & Steph, from the bottom of my lil ole "pea pod" heart. Screamed huddled in the middle of a 17' fishing boat with 3 other grown adults while a large pod of killer whales jumped all around our boat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught a 70 something year old woman how to get on the internet and email. She started looking up crocheting patterns and recipees. I've taught people how to pay attention to their income taxes and how a tax return works. Ive volunteered with red cross. I would like to learn how to sail a boat.
