PHILOSOPHY

I want to make life as BIG as possible. I believe in LOVE and follow my heart. I find beauty in everything and I enjoy the simple pleasures of life. I am thirsty for knowledge and want to learn as much as I possibly can but this does not come from of a book, or a school, it comes from living, travelling, meeting and conversing with others. I love knowing who I am and knowing the fact that I am ALIVE and not just living.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love travelling and meeting different people from around this incredible planet. When I am travelling I love to meet and connect with people of the place that I am visiting. I think a huge part of the travelling experience is to try and submerge yourself in the culture and have some sort of exchange in order to learn and teach one another in order for us to continue to grow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have crashed on many couches during my travels but never through CS. I spent 6 months on the road hitch hiking through Europe and was offered many places to sleep, food/drink etc...It was such an incredible experience to be touched by the simple act of kindness from complete strangers and to be able to put your trust in them and have them trust you.

Travelling, drinking beer, wine and whatever other local speciality. Good conversations that last throughout the night. Cooking and eating good food. Discovering new music, going to live shows and local bars. Snorkeling / scuba diving, sea kayaking, sailing, exploring the ocean. I love swimming in the ocean. Hiking, camping, riding bikes, snow/water skiing. Sleeping under the stars. Soaking in natural hot springs.

Music: I love all types of music (rock, blues, jazz, country, folk, singer-songwriter). Some of my favorite artists include: Lucinda Williams, Kate Bush, Patty Griffin, Bjork, Patti Smith, The Ramones, Bowie, Billie Holiday, Marc Almond, Led Zeppelin, Jaques Brel, Elza Soares, Conor Oberst.
Books: I am currently reading Autumn Quail by Naguib Mahfouz.
