Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been quite inactive in recent years since I have moved to my parents' home. But I am open to quality exchanges with anyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a few and surfed a little. Kamel Boughaleb /www.couchsurfing.org/people/kamelito/> introduced me to this wonderful progressive community.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am passionate about the cinema. I have weak knees for Iranian realism.

Musically, I enjoy ambient, electronica, fusion jazz, indonesian degung and french-folk. Indian sittar melts the heart. I think world music concerts are for me.

And only in recent years that I've picked up reading, ranging from non-fictions and very few fictions. Sigh. I know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran a pseudo-arts fest as a substitute for an English month. Screened amazing films after which a student commented, the best films he'd seen in his life came from the event.

Teach, Learn, Share

Getting myself shaken makes me vulnerable but will affect me in a long run. Able to start new things and expose people new perspectives are great feelings.
