About Me

Currently, I live in Sarikei, a small town in Sarawak, Malaysia.
I have been living in this Borneo Island for the past 4 years and it has been amazing. Indulging in different culture, natives/tribes' customs and lifestyles.

Work/career is a huge part of my life. I love working in the emergency and trauma department. My life revolves around the hospital and occasionally this slightly interferes with my interest in travelling. But it's all good cause I will always find time to venture off.

I have a siamese pet fish, his name is Carlos.

Most of the time, I enjoy being on my own but I do cherish and crave for interesting, good, educational conversations with others.

Laid back and open minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To truly immerse myself in the local culture by mingling with the local people.

Interests

I love walking and hiking. I can just walk for hours relentlessly.

I can also be a complete couch potato. After a long day of work, I come home, turn on my home projector, sit on a couch, and enjoy a great movie or a tv show.

Recently, I started a new passion which is making macrame. It's very addictive and fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy reading TIME, National Geographic and Discovery magazines.

I listen to anything. It ranges from soothing nature music to heavy metal. I just choose whichever that suits my emotional and psychological state of mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to the beautiful land of Iceland.

I climbed up to the top of Mount Huashan in Xian, China and walked along the terrifying plank walk. That was an amazing experience.
