About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world, meet fantastic people, and just continue to be open to where the winds blow

ABOUT ME

I enjoy that this section asks for 'all' about me. Yikes, that would require more writing than I feel like doing.

Well, the cliff notes of me is that I was born and raised in Australia and grew up in a very international setting. My mother was from the US and we would travel quite often, both there and other places. After finishing high school I decided to leave Australia and ended up backpacking around the world for 4.5 years.

I decided that it probably was time (at 23) to try out university, so I meandered back to Australia to start at RMIT. I did eventually finish the degree, but spent most of it not in Australia, moving first to Sweden for a bit over a year then the US.

This last year has been very interesting. I fished of my university degree, worked at some awesome music festivals, and then spent a season working on a cruise ship in Antarctica, which was absolutely amazing.

This coming year involves a lot of travel, festival work, going to the Arctic, and hopefully Antarctica again all the while continuing to try and learn as much as possible. Looking forward to it.

PHILOSOPHY

Curiosity is one of the most fantastic aspects of who we are. There is so much of the world we can discover if we decide to explore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The amount I've participated in this awesome culture hasn't been as much as I'd of liked. I used to work too much so could only really do was get togethers and various gatherings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Oh the people that you meet while on the couch! Haven't done all that amount of the staying or hosting but I've gone to quite a few gathering and some of the people who've I've met are some great friends.

Interests

Getting lost in the wilderness, roaming around cities at random looking for things to take my interest, long talks with people about the world, reading, rock climbing (well, any outdoor activity really)
