Overview
About Me
Hey, I`m Nina and I´m an art education and cultural management student in Düsseldorf.
I love travelling, but haven´t been out of Europe before: my dream is to travel to Mexico. While earning money to efford that (by giving tours in a baroque palace) I can work up enthusiasm for many things...sometimes I just enjoy being in a beautiful cafe eating cake and reading a good book. I love food, music, sleeping, art, vintage, concerts, flowers, dancing, reading, movies, camping, laughing, museums, cultures, kissing, the sun, theatre, decorating, festivals, philosophy, swimming, fashion, wasting time, baking, the smell of coffee and fresh mowed grass, hitchhiking, the moon, fleamarkets, rain, photography.......also elephants. List will be updated!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I surfed in Scandinavia (Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Malmö, Jönköping, Gothenborg, Skövde) and Berlin- the nicest accommodations I have ever had! I couldn't believe that people would be so nice, I had an unforgettable time.
Sadly, there´s not much space in my shared flat, but you could stay with me in my room or I would like to show you Düsseldorf!

Music, Movies, and Books
There are too many books I like...for example from Eric Emmanuel Schmitt or surrealistic books like L'Écume des jours (Boris Vian).
I love watching independent movies without prefering a genre (Directors like Xavier Dolan, Jim Jarmusch, Stanley Kubrick, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Lars von Trier...) .
I listen to different kind of music, but prefere techno, goa and psychedelic rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My best hitchhiking experience: travelling through five countries in a few days with a turkish truck driver, sleeping in his truck (kind of a couchsurfing experience)
Teach, Learn, Share
"...and those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who couldn`t hear the music.” (Friedrich Nietzsche)
