Before I started to work as a researcher in the field of wind energy, I studied mathematics. For both I had/have to spend a lot of time sitting at a desk and thinking about problems and their solutions. For me it was always important to find the right balance between the mental work during my studies/work and other activities, preferably with other people. I love to spend time in nature and to do every kind of sports (like futsal, hiking, climbing, dancing, diving, volleyball,...) . Also reading a good book can help to clear the mind. And of course, when ever it is possible, I travel around the world to discover new countries and cultures and to meet a lot of new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If you wanna meet other travelers, sleeping in hostels is a good way to do it. If you wanna get in contact with local people, understand how they live and think, couchsurfing is the best option. Both can be nice.:)

Music, Movies, and Books

Depending on the mood, almost evey kind of music can be the right one. However, my favourite music genres are rock and indie, but I also love to dance Lindy Hop to swing music.
Thriller and fantasy are always good genres for both, movies and books.
