Interests

Johan: Extremely up-to-date on current affairs and world news, history, sports and almost everything else. What I don't know, I find out. I'm passionate about my job and work hard, but always have a great great time when I'm with friends. My friends know me as a big-hearted, fun-loving, what-you-see-is-what-you-get type of guy who really gets along with one and all. And the guy you turn to if you have a general knowledge question.

Elana: I'm a journalist, violinist (not expert, though) and a dreamer. I guess I'm the balance to Johan's extrovert nature and I enjoy being creative. Extremely friendly, though. Finding out and learning new things is one of the greatest joys to me, so I can chat for hours to people who have much to tell. I love skilfully created movies, plays, photos, music and books. And I'm a total sucker for any type of documentary or field trip (finding out new stuff, remember)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

South Africa's hosting of the Soccer World Cup in 2010. The energy was simply awe-inspiring if one thinks back at where we were 17 years ago.
