ABOUT ME

originally I come from sinzig, a tiny city in the western part of germany, the beautiful rhineland-palatinate. this area (maybe not sinzig in particular) is really worth a visit, if you're planning your trip through germany!
before moving to cologne I spent four years in stuttgart- so if need some advice what to do down there, don't hesitate to ask. in stuttgart I studied some crazy new-fashioned bachelor degree which combined cultural education, literature, theatre and film.
right now I'm doing my masters (of culture and media studies) in cologne- an anamzing place to be. we've got the impressive kölner dom (cologne cathedral) in the middle of the city centre right next to the centralstation, the calming presence of the rhine, more than one million communicative, warmhearted people around, several historic breweries which are responsible for the tasty local beer "kölsch" and a lot more to offer! I'm pretty sure you don't want to leave once you've experienced the cologne-city-vibes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

at the moment I'm sharing a flat with two lovely friends of mine, fiona and moritz. they are both really easy going and happy to welcome strangers in our home. all of us enjoy getting in touch with people from different places we can share some stories with.
unfortunately we have no spare room where you can live during your stay but we can easily offer one of our rooms, in which case I would share a room with fiona for those couple of days. we have a cute flat in one of colognes suburbs, köln "kalk", by metro 8 min away from the city centre. kalk is coulorful and vivid, with the best vegan gyros and the sünner kölsch brewery around the corner of our house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I made use of couchsurfing several times during my travels through new zealand, indonesia and the us. even in germany I had some memorable couchsurfing-experiences. I'm really thankful this community made me getting to know all those super-cool dudes and dudesses ;) many of those interesting acquaintances have become friendships and that's a beautiful fact in my opinion.

Interests

I'm interested in many things and activities and that's maybe why I'm quite easy to inspire. I'm interested in literature, in music and movies. I enjoy dancing, hiking, slacklining and sleeping. you can easily make me happy with all kind of food and I love maundering through nice little villages, to surprise others and like probably all of you, I really do love travelling a lot.
