ABOUT ME

i find these little blurbs daunting. let's see.. i have not traveled this way for some time. have lived in santa cruz for 15 years. it is lovely and now i am restless and wanting to see what is north.. i am showing my work along the way, visiting old friends, new friends too.. i prefer to sleep outside, so mostly interested in trees and creeks just outside of your house. could not find lawn surfing- and so am making do with this couch surfing site...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i signed up for this less than a week ago.. randomly looked at laytonville as it was on my way, and magically recognized one of the first people that came up on the screen.. adorable and amazing jesse- she makes handmade lingerie for any and every body type.. she showed her work with the LoOk collective i am a part of in santa cruz last winter.. we drank our morning tea and coffee as the chickens pecked at my toes..

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

i met the dalai lama years ago in dharmsala.. will never forget. looked right into each others eyes. he laughed. i laughed. he laughed more. i laughed more... i am laughing right now, remembering...

also, in the last year, i have been going to soledad prison to meditate with the men there. i have to say- some of them have the same light i saw in the dalai lama's eyes. that light is everywhere, when you look for it..
