Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Graduate, do something big and important wtih my life, and learn to love vegetables.
ABOUT ME
I'm a photographer and senior at Brigham Young University studying English and anthropology, subjects that allow me to study out of the classroom and all over the world if I can help it. I am passionate about learning, travelling, and constantly strive to be a better person.
PHILOSOPHY
This is a big question! I just try to live my life without regrets. I think that learning and gathering experiences is important. I love Henry David Thoreau and what he says about "living deliberately" in his book, Walden. I really try to live by that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I travel I like to do more than sight see, I want to interact with the people and learn more about the culture. I look forward to utilizing this community to fulfill that goal and to hopefully host others who are interested in learning about my own culture and country.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Besides hitch hiking in Hawaii and crashing on different friends couches when I was trying to save money for school, I have not had much experience with this kind of thing.
Interests
Reading, writing, rock climbing, surfing, listening, learning, yoga, painting, and spending time with friends and family.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything by C.S. Lewis, Jane Austen, and Virginia Woolf is gold in my book. I like movies that make you think, and I love variety in my music. Anything from Italian opera to some American punk rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once hit 4 continents in 2 days on my flight to Ghana, Africa. That is pretty cool!
