ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Ariane, but I also go by Annie. I am about to travel to Spain for the first time, where I will be teaching in Huelva. My last big adventure was studying abroad in Chile for a year, which was unbelievable. I just graduated with a Spanish and Global Studies degree from the University of Minnesota. My goal in life is to find a career path in which I will always be able to mix work and travel.

Some of my favorite authors are Alexander McCall Smith and Isabel Allende, but the book that I have read more times than any other is Pride and Prejudice.

The most beautiful sight that I have ever seen was in a backpacking trip in Torres del Paine, Patagonia Chile. We had to push ourselves to climb up pass after pass, like nothing I've ever experienced. But just after we peaked, surrounded by some of the most incredible glaciers in the world, we came into sight of the third largest glacial body in the world: Lago Grey. It was like entering into the ice age. those moments, seeing the earth in such an awe inspiring beauty, were like no other. It was then that I realized that the travel bug is truly a life-time affliction, and not something that I will ever be able to give up.
