ABOUT ME

I like being at new places and with new people long enough for them to get familiar. I liked my bicycle a lot but now it's been stolen. That's OK, I like walking even better. I am kind of ambiguous about my computer, which I spend a lot of time in front of. It affords certain things not possible without it, yet time spent there is time spent in some sense outside the world, it feels.
I would like to live in the green copper control tower out on Langebro bridge in Copenhagen when the sun shines on it. I like sitting by the water thinking up clever things and forgetting them because they weren't important, although many things are.
I freelance doing computer games for advocacy of just causes and other kinds of communication design.

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This was my plea to the people of Moscow a couple of days before departure late April 2007:

"This is my first surf but I have just been asked to Moscow by a friend who on a whim bought a couple of tickets on an internet auction, and none of us know anyone in Moscow so we put our trust in you, the fine people of the CS community!
He and I are interested in helping someone in Moscow move, in exchange for a place to sleep for some or all of the nights between April 21th and 28th."

I wrote to the very first profile on the list of people in Moscow as he seemed perfect and Deric replied promptly with an affirmative. As he was moving that week anyway it seemed faith or the Great Gonzo Magnet was turning in our favour.
Moscow was a great success!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of '92 when I was thirteen I saw what looked like a small sun gliding heavily across the sunset sky trailing a long bright orange tail behind it. Probably a meteor but it freaked me out.

Also it is quite amazing that I have never broken a bone in my body (that I know of) as I really have fallen down from things quite a bit.
