COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was sitting on a flower box at the corner of something and Tongariro in Taupo, NZ writing in a journal waiting for some friends to pick me up at noon. An older couple approached me on the crowded street and asked me what I was writing. After a 20 minute conversation they asked if I had a place to stay that night, which I did not, and offered to let me stay at what turned out to be a beautiful and comfy home for the night. They were lovely and great conversationalists, well traveled, and a joy to spend time with.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'd been reading new age and buddhist material for a while but now I'm back to the novels and biographies. I want to start reading fantasy but they don't seem to be coming my way. Movies I just try not spending too much time watching them as it can become quite easy to do so at times (sigh). I DON'T like scary films, no no no, unless you want me jumping up interrupting your movie to go and hide. Musical tastes are endless, could more easily list what I don't like but I love all good groovin music from all over. Kings of Leon are one of my favorites, and a violin will always catch my notice.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
generosity is amazing to behold. Angkor Wat in Cambodia is pretty knarly. Saw some itty bitty mini ponies on Waiheke Island, NZ. All of it really. I once hitched a ride through the Panama Canal and on to the Galapagos Islands on a boat that had won the World Cup...now that was pretty amazing. And the dolphin families coming up to the boat in the night, outlined by phosphorescence.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to travel more frequently for less money if you wanted some ideas. I always love picking up cooking techniques while I'm traveling so if you've got some fancy moves over the stove I'd love to see what you got.
