I've been hosting people for over a year now. I have a spare room, and live 10 minutes walk from the city centre. i like to think i'm busy, but like to help people out, so email me and see what i can do, what's the worst that could happen?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had a few couchsurfers, and am happy to host more. I have a low percentage rating as I don't always get around to replying to requests. But it doesn't harm you to ask! replying is my new hobby.
I've couchsurfed once, in Aberyswyth, Wales.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Several surfers have stayed with me. They seemed to enjoy their stay.

The usual stuff- sport, travel, social life. etc. i have a big collection of dvd's, for those of you who need to chillout on those (many) rainy days that york enjoys.

I've bungee jumped from victoria falls bridge in zimbabwe/zambia. Does that count?
