About Me

CURRENT MISSION

He not busy being born is busy dying

ABOUT ME

It is so hard to encompass my entire self in an "about me€" box but I will give it a go. I graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Human Services in June 2011. Right after a graduated I quit my jobs and decided to travel around Europe for a bit, that is how I got involved with Couch Surfing. Now I am living in Morocco as a Peace Corps Volunteer working with youth. Once I decide to look for more of a career I hope to do something with youth development but I am not sure what that will entail yet. I love to get to know new people and I love to visit new places so this network is a pretty great place to be a part of.

Some random things about me:
I love animals and I am a vegetarian
I believe that music and art can be the best forms of communication
The outdoors are my true home; camping, hiking, exploring, whitewater rafting, backpacking, etc.
I am a big fan of Bob Dylan
The Lord of the Rings is my favorite book
I grew up listening and dancing to Irish music
I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up yet but it will be great
I think that dogs can be the best friends
I can be super cheesy at times
I love art, all kinds!

PHILOSOPHY

Really cheesy, but I truely want to do things based on the fact that you only live once. That is why I think that traveling is so important; seeing new places, experiencing new settings and cultures, and building relationships with new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet people! Whether that is by hosting people in my Moroccan home or visiting new people in their home countries. I think couch surfing is a wonderful opportunity to make friends and learn about others :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Ireland and France and had some amazing experiences there. I think that Couch Surfing is a great opportunity to meet new people from all around the world. While living in Morocco I have hosted a number of guests as well! I love being able to help out fellow travelers by providing a places to stay and showing them around the area.
