I just moved to Prague to start my graduate program in International relations and diplomacy. I live in a great apartment with my boyfriend. I'm very social, and spend a lot of time with friends. I put great effort into making everyone in my presens feel good and comfortable and really enjoy meeting new people. Especially with a different way of looking at life. We do not need to agree on everything, that is what makes life interesting. I love a good discussion, but can just as easily spend a night just fooling around. My life at the moment are made up of school, cafe visits and just trying to have as much fun as I can.

I like to be happy, and make others happy. Think that is the closest I get to a personal philosophy. It's very easy, but at the same time surprisingly hard.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I host as often as I can, and I'm always ready for coffee or a drink. If you come to my town, I will do my best to make your stay comfortable (Even if I can't always offer a couch).

I have travelled Europe, the Americas and to a limited extent Asia, and surfed some couches here and there. I have also been a host for some years now. The times I've spent with people dropping by are priceless.

Intereses

I love to learn new things, and taste new food. I enjoy good movies and books, discussions, a good laugh and just being social. My great passion is travelling. I do it every chance I get, the next best thing is hosting. Then I get a bit of the big world into my own living room :)

Música, películas y libros

Music: I love playing my piano, but that is where it stops with me. I'm somewhat of a freak without much of a relationship to music, psychopathic you say? Bring your own music, maybe you will be the one to turn me around, who knows :)

Movies: Rocky Horror picture show, Lost in translation, Little miss sunshine, A clockwork orange (and generally movies by Stanley Kubrick), Requiem for a dream, Pulp fiction, almost enything from Studio Gihbli (Spirited away is a favourite). I have no idea why, but I also very much enjoy the Highlander movies, they are totally ridicules, but it is a guilty pleasure I guess.

Books: I love to read! I have read a lot of books, and to list up some is a bit difficult. Still, Here is some of my favourites: Papillion, Pillars of the earth, the short stories of Roald Dahl and American psycho. I also love fantasy. It is such easy entertainment, and it is a good way to get your mind of curriculum and the real world for some hours. I enjoyed the Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb, and Stormlight archive (at least the books out so far).

What can I teach? Well, I'm a Norwegian, so obviously I know things about Norway. I can teach Norwegian history, language and folklore. Or perhaps you would like a taste of Norwegian cousin? If you are interested in any of that I will be happy to enlighten :)
I'm also interesting to learn anything you can teach. About your country, your culture, perhaps you are one of those with a burning passion for collecting stamps? All knowledge is good knowledge, and I would love to hear whatever you have to say.
