ABOUT ME

(je suis francophone...mais je me plie à la culture locale du site en faisant mon profil en Anglais)

I am from Belgium and I have been a "digital nomad" (having a job that follows you, when you just need an internet connexion to work) for 6 years. I took benefit from it to travel a few years before settling down in Montreal :).

I explored the world, spending weeks and sometimes months very far from my home. For some reasons, I have always been attracted by Montreal, which is by far and for me the best place to live. I managed to find a nice appartement in the best area of the city for me and I feel very glad about that :)

I would be pleased to host some friendly and open-minded people who want to find out about Montreal ;) ! It is a pleasure to share about my enthusiasm about the city, share stories, dream, projects, passions and connect. I could help you to find your way in Montreal if your a new in the city and want to stay or just help you to find nice activities to do while you are here. I know who it feels to be new in a city. I have experienced this feeling many times...;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in an appartement in my best area of Montreal (for me...;))in the "Plateau". It is small but I could host one person ( please don't send me a request for a group, I would not respond to it ;)). I have put a pic of the sofa where you could sleep. The location is very ideal for me, one block from a great parc, close to downtown and to other lively places, there are almost all the facilities close by but the area is calm and a bit residential as well. The perfect mix for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very good, that's why I am still around :) For some reasons, I had the chances to cross the path of interesting people with whom I could connect in many ways. I am looking for GENUINE people ;). I am learning spanich and I would be happy to be able to practice. Learning languages, it is one of the many good sides of couchsurfing !

I went to Tadoussac (Quebec) kayaking among whales.
I could interview as an adult people I was fan when I was a child.

I love the idea of "stealing" talents from other people, in other words understand how people think and what they did to manage to get some skills.
Always good to have the opportunity to pratice my English, and happy to help or teach some French.
