Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot of non-fiction, especially philosophy, history, and science. I've been working diligently to expand my musical horizons lately, as music has never really been a huge passion of mine. Every now and then I find a song that makes me cry. Some movies are good. A much larger number are absolute crap.

I know a lot about political, economic, and social history of quite a few places and am more than willing to discuss this topic, among many others.
