About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Establish an organic Vegetable garden!
ABOUT ME
I have travelled a lot. Read a lot though I absorb very little in the great scheme of things.
I drink my first two pints of Guinness at pace so if you and I are on rounds then good luck keeping up! Am physically pretty active though I love my fucking bed. I do look after my health. I dont like being controlled by anything. Independence is a big deal. So is kindness. One on one is where I am at my most comfortable with people.
PHILOSOPHY
Bob Marley said; "If you are not living good; Travel Wide"
and again "Don't gain the World and Lose your soul, Wisdom is more precious then silver or gold"
that do ye then!?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Ah sure how does anyone participate in CS!?. I suppose you just do your favourite things and have your new friends join in.. We usually manage some kind of an excursion. A spin west along the road. A bonfire on the beach. A drunken music session in a nearby pub. I think this is one of the most interesting parts of this brilliant country anyway! The Gaelic Language and Culture is Alive here!.
Personally I do feel an affinity for this area. Every season or every year that goes by here I get more comfortable in these surroundings and when I have time I love showing travellers what I have found!!!!!!!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well looked after in Spain, Holland, Denmark, Germany, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand and China.
All of those. Got to meet some amazing people, got to know some amazing people (and places!) I know myself all the better for that too.
And with guests it has been a hell of a way to explore Conemara and the West of Ireland!
Interests
Travelling, with the thumb when possible, Soccer, stonework, Permaculture, Photography, Outdoor stuff(hiking definetly, some canoeing, been sailing lately...) Folklore and History
I am interested in Permaculture especially self-sustainability and lately I have been doing a lot of yoga to help enable me to play even more ball then usual. So I do play soccer 4 times a week and go to yoga class at least 3 times! Its fantastic!
But number one interest is Irish traditional music and especially when that irish traditional music is in the pub!
