About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying my holidays

ABOUT ME

For three years I've been working in youth-clubs, and I'm very interested in the problems of growing up, coping with new things, developing interests and personality. This comes very well together with my fascination for theatre, for characters and the turns they take.

PHILOSOPHY

There's no philosophy that has completely convinced me. I just try to be nice to people and understand their actions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I have time I'm happy to meet people who come to Leipzig and show them around. I participate in Leipzig's CS community and will be travelling soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm completely new here, but plan to do some travelling during the fall.

Interests

I like to explore my creativity, make music, radio plays, theatre (lots of), writing and lots of other things. Seems to me that I'm on a constant quest for inspiration.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I'm in a Monty Python-craze, reading the diaries of Michael Palin. What an intelligent, funny, warm-hearted man! He set me in the mood for doing some travelling. Apart from that I love the music and the books by Nick Cave, the music and the lyrics of bands like Bad Religion and New Model Army. Bill Watterson's "Calvin and Hobbes" is very high up on my personal best-of list as well. And of course Thomas Hardy whose novel "Jude the obscure" leant me its name.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing naked on a stage in front of 600 people. 15 times.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mmm, what can I teach? I dont't really like teaching, instead I'd try and get into a situation that we share and learn of together. But if I'd have to, I could teach you in the basics of acting, bass-playing and of course the german language.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Portugal, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany
