CURRENT MISSION

Australia is a great place and I just want to make it easier for people to experience it without having to cut corners because of the cost of accomodation! I'm also keen to meet people from overseas and broaden my own horizons.

ABOUT ME

After spending years wanting to get out and see the world I'm finally getting started. I'm traveling to western Europe this year (although not for as long as I'd like) but it's a start.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS several years ago and thought "Wow, what a cool idea." but wasn't able to participate at the time. A few years later I found myself living in a house with lots of spare room so I joined the site and started hosting as many people as I could. I had a fantastic time meeting people from all over the world.

I've moved again though and while I can't host people where I live at the moment I know the second I end up somewhere with some spare room I'll be hosting people again.

In the meantime I always encourage my friends to try either hosting or surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think the best thing that's come out of the couchsurfing experiences I've had is the number of surfers I've hosted who have come back to stay with me a second time, even after I'd moved to another part of the country. I guess I was doing it right. :)
