ABOUT ME

I love to learn and travel, and work seasonally so I can have plenty of time for those pursuits.

My Current home is in Olympia, Washington State, on the west coast of the Unites Sates. I grew up in Boston, Massachusetts.

I love living in Olympia because of the natural beauty that surrounds the area. There are many mountains, forests, cold rivers, and plenty of clean, fresh air. You can see my house in this 30-second long youtube video here

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've surfed and hosted many times with friends and through CS. I love seeing how people live all over the world.

Interests

Studying the natural world, both living and inanimate. Spending as much time outside as I can, hiking, sailing, bicycling and exploring. Cooking good food, chemistry, biology, computers, Mozart and Bach. Bitcoin. I like to read, have interesting conversations, go swimming, take naps and think about the future. Yoga. Trumpet playing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have sailing and navigation skills that I would be happy to share with anyone. I show you how to fix a bicycle, help you understand your computer and teach you how to play the trumpet. I do travel with a trumpet. Bitcoin is a new interest, and I can teach you all about it as well.
