About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Conquer the world through eating and playing

ABOUT ME

Ah, there's not much I can say about myself. I want to travel cheaply while still experiencing everything possible... especially the food. I live in China and love exploring this country as well as the countries surrounding it. I speak some Chinese, it's not the best, but I'm trying hard to speak it better. I also know a bit of French, but I don't speak it as well as when I was younger.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is the most important part of one's life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to Couchsurf in Europe when I was younger, but now it's more difficult to do so in China. Still, I like being on here :-D

Interests

Foreign food, hiking, movies, peace and quiet, old temples, casual bird watching.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept in a tiny cave on Mount Sainte Victoire in France during a thunderstorm. It was completely unintentional.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn other languages, particularly Chinese. Additionally I want to improve my French and maybe someday learn Polish.

There's a Chinese game I've recently learned to play called Wu Zi Qi that is similar to "Go" or tic-tac-toe.

Also, I'm in a running and drinking club called a "hash" in Xiamen, so you can join me if you like, or introduce me to your city's hash house.

As for sharing, I'm happy to share knowledge, advice, and tips about where I've traveled to, particularly in East Asia and Southeast Asia. See "Countries I've Visited" for more info and please don't hesitate to message me questions :-D

What I Can Share with Hosts
