to broaden my horizons, find new places to explore, find more puzzle pieces so that i can see the big picture better, see more beauty in the world, connect with people, know myself, love!

ABOUT ME

I like to do fun things outdoors like hike and walk creeks and go caving. Caving is a pretty big deal for me. Exploring is my favorite thing; some would call it my "zen" activity. I like to learn. I love connecting with people and having fun with them. I love to laugh!

And I love dogs! I love just about any animal that doesn't try to bite me, and I like a lot of animals that do try to bite me, too.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still working on this one, but so far I think that it is best to do all you can to keep your interactions with other people as loving and pain free as possible. Be true to yourself. I think that personal growth and striving to grow is extremely important in life, and I'm trying to be a better person. Also, don't worry. Rather, try not to worry. Ain't always easy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got into couchsurfing with my fist trip to Europe. So far I've couchsurfed in Paris, Venice, Bologna, London, Albuquerque (New Mexico), Flagstaff (Arizona), Paris again, and Barcelona, and my hosts have all been wonderful, kind, considerate people. I finally got to host my first couchsurfer on my last night to live in Limoges, France! I hope I'll get plenty more opportunities to host in the future. In the past few years I've lived in places/with people not amenable to hosting, but in the future I hope that changes.

Interests

Caving! reading, dancing to live music, estate sales, learning, loving, the outdoors, adventures, fun, personal growth, social justice. I love to play board games and talk and laugh all night.
