About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live a crazy life and help a few along the way.
ABOUT ME
I am a dreamer and a seeker. I forgive faster than I forget. I am a always learning.
I grew up in a single parent household so packing a bag and going over night was something I learned how to do at a very early age. The desire to seek out new horizons was fueled by an early sense of independence. I find myself wanting to learn more about the world around me as I come to understand more about myself. This is the self perpetuating cycle of positivity I have found in my travels. My hope is to become comfortable enough with myself as well as the world around me so I can share my experience in the future by bringing those that I love with me when I travel.
The only limits that exist in life are those that we set on ourselves.
PHILOSOPHY
I started a production company with my best friend in 2001 called "Perfect Karma". The name actually has become more of a philosphy to live by and an approach to life then I would have ever thought. Perfect Karma is the belief in putting positive energy forward to be recycled once again. This is the core value in my philosophy to life. Where it is relevant to surfers is by offering positive cultural exchange so that they may return the favor to someone else in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I,ve been crashing couches unofficially for as long as I can remember with people I have known for years and others I may I have known for two hours. People are always a surprise sooner or later.
Interests
My interests are like any others, the smell of morning, getting lost on the street or in her eyes. I enjoy color and musik, smiling is a favorite thing to do. Free time and what we do with it interests me a great deal. What inspires people, is it genetically inherited or is it conditiioned by environment. This is a small experiment I would like to run socially in my travels. I am interested in the future almost as much as how the past is going to get us there. I like eating exotic food as much as a home cooked meal although that can be quite exotic at times too. I am curious about the sky and what is going on in and around it. Above all I am interested in a higher power and how people of different cultures choose what it is or what it is not. Why are we here? I guess we got to get on someones couch and find out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was bitten by a longtail macaque monkey while trying to film her in Lop Buri, Thailand. This was the most amazing of circumstances. When I phoned home to talk about the incident with my father he did what any concerned parent would do, he consulted online for medical help. After a series of e-mails he was in contact with a monkey expert at the CDC in Atlanta. When they learned of the situation they explained to him it was a medical emergency as 76% of these animals in that province are infected with the CHV-1 Virus which if not treated after infection would be terminal at 72 hrs. This info came 22 hrs after the bite. The CDC contacted The American Embassy in Thailand, who "red flagged" me in the country, where a schedule of drugs was set up and waiting for my arrival. The problem was I was out of contact looking to backpack up to the Burmese border and finally to Laos. Finally in the 50th hr I was alerted to the circumstance which resulted in the most paperwork I have ever had to file. As this kept me close to the hospital for my last 3 weeks of my trip I was never able to trek into Laos, which is why I plan on going here soon.
