i enjoy surfing, skateboarding, snow, and music ... i'm a fairly normal australian guy, except i look a bit funny as my father is from hong kong, and my mother is from england, still, my attitude is australian.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i joined about 2.5 years ago when i started traveling and have never used it because i've spent my time living in vans driving around europe, or with friends in rented apartments...
now i'm doing a little solo travel to places where i know noone, so i figure now is a good time to start using CS and meet new people.
i'm hoping to participate very soon by being the best couch surfing guest anyone has ever seen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

not in relation to this site...
but when i lived in a share house back home in australia, we used to have plenty of friends come and stay on our couch from all over, all the time... as there were four permanent residents, we were basically a drop in centre with a revolving door as everyone would have a different friend come each couple of weeks... it was definitely a good time.

兴趣

my personal hobbies are surfing, skiing, and skateboarding - all weather dependent of course.
i really enjoy cooking - any form, as long as it tastes good.
i also play guitar and have a penchant for music.
and i suppose you can't have traveled and not have an interest in other cultures, languages, religions, people, etc.

movies - any quentin tarantino, guy ritchie films... i'm also not adverse to a bit of slap stick comedy.
music - everything really... my iPod is full of old rock, new rock, electro, pop, hip hop, country, classical, world... anything with a good beat, depending on the moment... currently, i'm listening to the new mumford and sons album.
books - shantaram is a favourite, biographies usually interest me too.

i would like to learn to dive, play the piano, speak fluent french and spanish...
