ABOUT ME

I really started travelling on my own at 18 I went backpacking every year until I was 27. I used to hate staying in the same place too long and moved around every 9-12 months since I was 18 - but now have settled in London and have a wife and 2 baby girls who I adore. I have a 2:1 degree, done about every job you could think of, and now work as a Director of Operations having previously been a leadership coach for a private company for a few years. I love my family and friends, travelling, trying new things and food, drinking and partying, hate violence and love life. Really like meeting new people and opening myself to new experiences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I havent really participated as yet but have been to a CS party in Manchester, England where there was much fun and drunkeness, went out for drinks and pie in Montreal too!

Only at my friend Lee Moores, but I knew him before this site anyway, he's a top guy!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie? Im a movie nerd and theres far too many, loved the "Secret Life of Walter Mitty" and the Rocky movies. Also really like travelling movies like "The Way" and "Into the Wild".
Music? Anything except drum and base. Eminem, Stereophonics, Gomez, Oasis, Placebo, Jay Z.
Books? Im not a great reader but I love 'Of mice and men', 'A thousand Splendid Suns', 'Annapurna' and Lee Child or Dan Brown novels, although pretty poorly written, are fun to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a great wife and 2 amazing girls. I have lived in various places throughout the world. I have appeared in various movies and TV shows. I've trekked Everest Base Camp, and lead groups on mountains in Snowdonia. I love life, and think every day is a gift. Always smile!

I know alot about music, films, space and have strong opinions on some things and open to changing them on others. I love to learn too! I like talking and having fun, adventure and experiencing new things.
