ABOUT ME

I love life, nature and people. I am an activist and co-ordinate the World Naked Bike Ride in Australia. Have a look at the WNBR Australia website http://www.worldnakedbikeride.org/australia/ . I am passionate about the environment, peace, cycling and the rights of cyclists to use the road safely. I love to ride push bikes, bushwalk in wilderness, go to festivals, concerts, parties and meeting interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is to short for games of greed and violence. Love the earth, love each other and love bikes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have returned from my world trip in early August 2007. Now I am home I hope people will want to visit me, crash on my couch and have fun in Newcastle, Australia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am fairly new to Couchsurfing. I stayed with Holis's friend Jerome while in Brussels, Belgium and Hieke in Vancouver, Canada. Other previous experience is limited to crashing after parties on friends couches and visiting friends on holidays.

I like reggae, ska, rock, blues and roots music. The last 4 films I saw were An Inconvenient Truth, Sicko, The Simpsons Movie (Bart rides his skateboard naked - GO BART!) and A Climate of Hope.

On the 10th of March 2007 I organised the World Naked Bike Ride in Newcastle and led 26 riders on a 16km magical mystery tour protesting for: Naturism, the Environment, Renewable Energy, Peace & Safe Bicycling and protesting against: Cars & Climate Change Chaos! The police tried to stop us but we gave them the slip (even though they had cars and we were cycling) and did it anyway.

I am happy to teach anyone about fixing and riding bikes safely. If you surf my couch, you can also borrow a pushbike to get around town. I am also able to tutor activists on method of protest and making a media impact with peaceful protest actions.
