I just graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., where I studied journalism and political science. Currently I'm working for a local Democratic candidate and am looking for a place to crash until the election (Nov. 2). After that, my plans are unsettled.

Well, I have lots of interests. Obviously, politics is a big one, considering my major and current profession. I hope to move to Washington, D.C. someday to work in the government or at a non-profit.

But I also enjoy many simpler things. I'm an avid reader and recently overcame a years-long phobia of libraries (I just had this grudge because I worked in one with some really crummy people). Now that I'm emancipated, I've always got a library book, as opposed to a bookstore book, in my hand. So much cheaper!

Something else I enjoy almost as much as feeding my mind is feeding my stomach, and I love to cook. Going to the grocery store is one of my favorite parts of the week -- I always try to find something I haven't cooked or eaten before. I try to cook at least one meal a day, though sometimes I end up bouncing around to the wonderful restaurants in Bloomington.

Other things I do in my free time are strum on my guitar, clear out my Netflix queue and of course, party with my friends.
