ABOUT ME
I was born in '85 and I'm trying to make the most of every second! On 2-18-18 I married my love and partner, Derya, and we embarked on a world tour together. I run a few online businesses. One of them is very boring but it pays the bills, another is a digital marketing startup at ethicaldigital.com, and the other is writing new musicals and licensing the performance rights to schools and theaters at gomusicals.com.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to be a high stakes person in life, love, business, art, and adventure. In matters of art, intellect, and adventure, I go wide and weird.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've met some incredible people through couchsurfing, and I want to keep that up! I would be hosting people, but my roommate is afraid of new things. Bummer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Pretty much everyone I've met in the CS community has been awesome! One of the first people I surfed with was an inventor working at IdeaLab in LA. He showed me all kinds of cool gadgets he was working on, and I went with him and his friends to look at different properties where they wanted to build a "community workshop" (aka a hackerspace) back when they were virtually unheard of. It was a nice introduction to the kinds of fascinating, big-hearted people you meet through couchsurfing. In more recent years I've mostly gone to CS meetups, and made some really great friends in the Nice CS community.
