ABOUT ME

Meeting strange people is my favourite distraction to everyday life and quite often I've met some brilliant people :)
I travelled Australia and New Zealand from Oct '07 till Mar '08, Andalucía in Spain in spring '09 and the French Atlantic coast in October '09.
At the moment I'm studying mechanical engineering in Karlsruhe. I.e. maths, maths, maths and some cool machines :P
Apart from the studies I work in a rock climbing gym every now and then to get free access and earn some money to fly out again :)
My latest project is to earn enough money to get a full paragliding licence.

PHILOSOPHY

At the moment I'm trying to figure out in what ways I'm different than everybody else. That's an interesting and fun thing to do and I learn a lot about myself and other people. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed a couple of couches down under, couchsurfed through Andalusia and in France and I hosted a couple of surfers at my place and I can't wait to meet and host some more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some absolutely fantastic people from all over the planet with whom I've had lots of fun and a couple of really good conversations!

I love growing exotic plants from seeds I buy on the internet or collect anywhere in the world. At the moment I've got a banana plant growing right next to my desk and on the desk there are some palm seeds but their heads are still hidden in the soil. Wonder if they'll ever show? :)

My plan is to turn my room into a jungle and to sleep in a tree house then. :D

Basically all kinds of plants and animals fascinate me. I've got a little box for wild bees in front of my window because I love to watch them as well as the squirrels on the trees in front of the house. Hope I don't sound like a weirdo or an old man who doesn't get away from his window all day ;D

I also love climbing and hiking and being outdoors in general.

But I like partying and meeting people just as much as strolling through the bush and watching squirrels. ;)
Take me to a club where I like the music (I like most kinds except for the hardest hardcore) and I will have a fun time and so will you I guess ;)

I also like cooking and eating so if you're interested I can cook for you or much better, we'll do it together. I'm still a beginner but Jamie Oliver & Co help me a lot...;)

I love learning new stuff. It gives me a feeling of progress and better understanding for others and my environment.
But I also love to share my experience with others and I'm always happy if someone is interested in what I think ;)
